How is transfer bandwidth calculated?

Transfer bandwidth counts the total amount of data successfully moved through your pipes. For example, transferring a 10MB file to 2 destinations consumes 20MB of your monthly quota. Ingress (uploading to us) is free; we only count the data sent to your destinations.

Do you store my files?

No. Rilavek is a real-time streaming bridge. We stream data directly from the Source to your Destinations in memory. We do not persist your files on our disk. This ensures zero-knowledge privacy and compliance with data residency requirements.

What happens if I exceed my bandwidth limit?

On the Free plan, transfers may be paused until the next billing cycle. On paid plans, we will alert you and you can choose to upgrade or pay for overage at a standard rate. We never delete your configurations.

Is the Free plan really free?

Yes. We currently offer a Free plan that includes 2GB of transfer every month. It is not a trial, and no credit card is required to sign up. It's perfect for low-volume workflows, personal backups, or testing.

Can I use Rilavek for PCI/HIPAA data?

Yes. Because we are a pass-through service and do not store your data at rest, we simplify your compliance burden. Data is fully encrypted in transit when using our secure protocols (SFTP, FTPS, HTTPS).

Do you support legacy devices without encryption?

Yes. We offer a plain FTP option specifically for legacy industrial devices that do not support encryption. However, we strongly recommend using secure protocols (SFTP/FTPS) whenever possible.
